Lauren O asked:

HVAC system is not suppling enough fresh air. Is there a tool or device to measure air exchange rate in a specific building area or room?

The most common method is an anemometer, which can give you velocity (the speed at which the air is moving) and volume (the amount of air in cubic feet per minute). A pitot tube in the ductwork coupled with a magnehelic gauge will also give you CFM, but you have to do the math to figure it out. An A/C tech should be able to take those readings for you. If you need true air flow readings and air balancing, you’ll need a certified air balance tech.
